CHESS OPENING: ELEPHANT GAMBIT!!!!

For those of you who play chess (I am assuming not a lot of you), I feel like sharing this opening (those who don't know how to play chess, you can ignore this post):

ELEPHANT GAMBIT!!!

1. e4 e5
2. Nf3 d5?!

Opening masters will say this isn't a good opening to play against the e4-Nf3 set-up. This is called the Elephant Gambit.


3. exd5 e4
4. Qe2 Nf6
5. Nc3 Be7

The e-pawn is really hanging, so black doesn't have any defense for that pawn, except:

5...Qe7
6. Ng5!! And white has a much better position
6. Nxe4 0-0
7. Nxf6 Bxf6
8. d4!


Opening the c1-h6 diagonal for the bishop to protect against the X-ray attack Re8.
8...Re8 (black doesn't really have anything else to do)
9. Be3 Qxd5
10. Qd2 Giving space for the f1-bishop
10... Bg4
11. Be2 Nc6
12. c3
And white has a near winning (if not, winning) position because of his central pawns, extra material, and everything.
